Our Services

About Us

We are a small animal clinic, treating both dogs and cats. Lockhart Animal Clinic has been performing small animal medicine and surgery for one and half centuries (in dog years!), since 1984. Our friendly, hometown staff includes human as well as feline and canine "employees". For example, "Simba", our official feline greeter, regularly parades into the front office making a daily announcement (we are not yet sure of what he is trying to tell us but he is insistent).

Dr. Gloria Frizell has been in small animal practice for over 35 years. We are always ready and willing to give your family member the best medical care possible, tailored to fit you and your pet's lifestyle.

We treat our patients with the respect and kindness they deserve. We offer ready referrals to Texas A&M University's Veterinary College and Austin veterinary specialists such as Central Texas Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital, Austin Animal Eye Clinic, Austin Allergy and Dermatology Center of Central Texas, Animal Dental Clinic, etc. and thereby maintain close working relationships with board certified veterinarians in College Station, Austin, Round Rock and San Antonio. We work closely with the Allure Integrated Pet Specialists emergency hospital located at 22525 North I-35 Frontage Rd, New Braunfels 78132 to assure that our patients are cared for using cutting edge technology and expertise when they have an emergency after hours.
